It is widely known that BN1 gears are notoriously difficult to replace, leaving the discerning Healey 100 BN1 owner searching through autojumbles for serviceable replacement gears. The gear ratios are original although the tooth profile is metric instead of the original imperial specification, therefore individual gears are not inter-changeable with existing or original gears. The laygear is manufactured with 3 oil holes rather than 1 to increase efficiency and longevity whilst the interior of the laygear is lined with phosphor-bronze bearings.

This fantastic new product has been manufactured to a high grade in association with leading Healey 100 specialists, using modern techniques.  This product has moved on from the developmental and testing stages and is now a fully complete, ready to install kit.
